Junior Account Executive – Bristol

Are you interested in building a career in online/digital marketing?

We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Account Executive for an immediate start in our Bristol office. The role will require you to manage an extensive portfolio of mid and long tail Webgains clients, some of whom are well-established and prominent brands. You will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and experience from industry experts.

About you…

You will be a self driven, well-organised, quick learner, with good written and verbal communication skills, an analytic approach to problem solving, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a strong interest in online marketing and affiliate channel in particular. The ability and desire to prioritise and work in fast paced environment is essential, as is a good sense of humour. There will be opportunity for career advancement in line with your own ambitions. Future roles may include international travel and management responsibilities.

Although experience with an established affiliate network is not essential, you should have a good understanding of affiliate marketing, the UK affiliate landscape and preferably have some experience in account management.

Computer skills:
Intermediate skills in all Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience in HTML and other web languages would be beneficial.

About the role…

  • Provide exemplary customer service to our network of advertisers and publishers
  • Manage a portfolio of Webgains clients; act as direct liaison on day to day queries, help developing commercial strategies for clients
  • Assist clients with monitoring, trouble-shooting and growing their affiliate channel
  • Present new affiliate opportunities to relevant Webgains clients
  • Perform program benchmarking and competitor analysis
  • Search for opportunities to optimise and improve the account management support processes
