PI LIVE Europe<\/a> is just over a month away and we’re beyond excited to spend a couple of days in amongst it at Old Billingsgate with our wonderful industry colleagues. Fans of Webgains Sports Bar, a venue that’s become the heartbeat of PI LIVE over the past few years, will be very pleased to hear that it’s returning for 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of talking to attendees and partners about the ins and outs of their upcoming affiliate strategies, here are the four things we’re especially excited to be on the Webgains agenda this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As is always the way with these large trade shows, we’re going to be talking with a lot of retailers who are exploring the affiliate channel for the first time or looking for new strategies to successfully scale in the coming months and years. In these conversations there’s no better place to start than with the advertiser’s goals. Thanks to the scope and flexibility of the affiliate landscape, these could be almost anything – from wanting to increase brand reputation to improving conversion rates, and everything in between. Fortunately for growing brands, there is an affiliate for everything<\/a> and as an affiliate network, we can facilitate partnerships and offer the strategies that ensure they’ll deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tracking is still an important, probably the most<\/em> important, topic in affiliate marketing today. We’ve been heavily involved in The APMA’s ongoing campaign ‘Cracking Tracking<\/a>‘, a drive to guarantee every affiliate link counts, every valid transaction is rewarded and brands are clear about how their marketing budgets are spent. We’re sure this topic will be discussed not only at Webgains Sports Bar but throughout the show, especially on PI LIVE Europe’s multiple stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PI LIVE show brings our industry together like no other, and the Sports Bar celebrates that; it’s a space to meet new and existing partners, and to strategise for campaigns you’ll create and the sales you’ll win together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One feature of our Sports Bar that’s proved incredibly popular over the past couple of years has been our basketball game. However, you were all getting far too good at shooting hoops so it’s been replaced for 2024 with something we’re really excited to introduce with one of our fastest-growing clients. Can you guess what it is? If not, you’ll have to wait until we reveal all in the week before the show to find out. Rest assured that this activity is going to be more than enough to match the competitive spirit and fun-factor produced by the basketball machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosting the Sports Bar won’t be the only role Webgains will play at this PI LIVE Europe. We’re also on the Main Stage represented by our International Marketing Director Paul Southgate. Bringing his pre-Webgains tourism career into play, Paul is set to host a panel ‘Navigating the Future: Travel Affiliates and Market Insights’<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
