Back in 2019, we started an email string with our staff to share links to books, articles and videos around professional advice and leadership. We decided to bring it back in our first new monthly instalment of, \u2018Things we read.\u2019<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

This week we speak to members of our Client Services team, who share with us articles discussing the awareness of \u2018being kind\u2019 and talking about our mental health. Books about what it takes to get back up again, and how owning our stories of disappointment, failure, and heartbreak can give us the power to write a daring new ending. And finally, a dystopian novel that touches on current relevant topics of isolation and the role of authority.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

“My recommendation is a dystopian novel Wool by Hugh Howey. It\u2019s a collection of three short science fiction stories which make the first in a three-part saga. The saga touches on several relevant topics, including isolation and the role of authority.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
