Drivalia UK Affiliate Programme Terms

Allowed Publisher Types and Promotional Restrictions

The Drivalia affiliate programme welcomes a variety of promotional publisher types, including cashback sites, community publishers, content creators, coupon code publishers, email marketers, loyalty and rewards platforms, and search specialists.

Publishers are required to adhere to programme guidelines and must not promote adult or age-restricted products, nor associate their activity with alcohol. Publishers found in breach of these restrictions or promoting content linked to prohibited products will not be eligible to participate in the programme.

Validated Sales

Drivalia pays commission only for confirmed car rental bookings. A confirmed car rental booking is defined as when a customer collects a rental car from the branch desk. Drivalia reserves the right to decline affiliate sales on cancelled bookings and on bookings that are de-duplicated due to originating from other marketing channels.

Transaction Policy

Commissionable transaction values are calculated excluding VAT, delivery charges, credit card fees, gift wrapping, and other service charges. Commission is not paid out on bookings affected by cancellations, customer no-shows, returns, failed credit checks, duplicate orders, items out of stock, or any breach of programme terms. Drivalia reserves the right to decline commissions on any transaction that does not meet these criteria, ensuring payment is made only on eligible, confirmed car rental bookings.

Advertising with the Drivalia Brand

Publisher websites must not create the impression that they legally represent Drivalia or have authority to make legal declarations on behalf of Drivalia. Any use of Drivalia’s licensed trademarks, or those belonging to the Crédit Agricole Auto Bank Group, is not permitted without prior written approval.

General Exclusion Criteria

• The publisher must operate an appropriate website. Sole email registrations will not be accepted.
• Sites containing or promoting violence, pornographic material, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age are strictly excluded.
• Publisher websites must comply with all applicable legal regulations.
• Drivalia reserves the right to refuse advertisements that promote illegal activities.
• The following types of sites are excluded from participation:
  • Banner networks
  • Bonus systems (with or without click incentives)
  • Websites without substantial content, unavailable websites, incorrect domains, or broken links or images
  • Web browser extensions

Advertising with the Drivalia Brand

• Publisher websites must not create the impression of representing Drivalia or being authorised to make legal statements on behalf of Drivalia.
• Any use of Drivalia trademarks or those belonging to the Crédit Agricole Auto Bank Group requires prior written approval.

Paid Search (SEM) Restrictions

• Drivalia reserves the right to terminate any partnership or retain commissions if a partner violates these terms or uses unauthorised paid search strategies.

Email Marketing

• Spam email activities using the Drivalia affiliate programme are strictly prohibited. Publishers must secure opt-in consent from all email recipients in advance.
• Under no circumstances should emails imply that transmissions come from Drivalia. The publisher must be clearly identified as the sender.

Advertising Materials

• Modifying Drivalia’s provided advertising materials or links is prohibited.
• Advertising Drivalia via pop-up, pop-under, frames, iframes, layers, banner networks, paid-mail, paid-banners, or paid-click programmes is not allowed.
• Drivalia may terminate partnerships or withhold commissions for breaches of these requirements.

Voucher Code Usage

• Drivalia may offer exclusive voucher codes but may change or withdraw such offers at any time without notice.
• Drivalia may refuse voucher redemption if terms are not followed. Only one voucher may be used per transaction. Vouchers are valid for single use and cannot be combined with other offers.
• Any complimentary gifts are subject to availability and cannot be substituted or exchanged for cash.

PPC is generally not permitted within the Drivalia affiliate programme; however, select affiliate partners may be invited to conduct PPC campaigns on our behalf with prior approval. Drivalia applies de-duplication to publisher sales against a range of online advertising channels, including:

• SEO
• PPC (brand and generic activity)
• Email advertising
• Display advertising
• Direct partnerships
• Price comparison channels
• House publisher programmes
• Other affiliate networks
• Any additional relevant online channels

De-duplication ensures that commission is only paid where a genuine, attributable sale is generated through the affiliate channel, and not where the sale overlaps with activity from another advertising or partnership source.
