Over six thousand digital marketing specialists met in Las Vegas this January at this years edition of Affiliate Summit West. Our US team proudly represented Webgains, with some international help from our Chief Revenue Officer, Almir Hajdarpasic.
Almir told us that ‘these summits bring people together from all over the world. Although we experienced massive travel problems due to the storms on the east coast, many participants found their way to Vegas. As we are a leading affiliate network in Europe, advertisers from the USA or Asia are particularly interested in working with us, and this event offered a very good platform for such discussions.’
‘The biggest key to affiliate marketing is building strong relationships, and phone or e-mail is not always enough. Those two days were filled with lots of important face-to-face meetings, reinvigorating old contacts and forging new relationships ’ – told us James Mogavero, the Head of Sales in our US branch.
Webgains also had a great opportunity to showcase the new brand and share some upcoming product sneak peaks, such as the new advertiser platform and products using AI technology. Here is what the future of affiliate marketing could look like, the Webgains way.
The big takeaways from the event according to James is the increasing interest in utilising multi-channel attribution, as well as AI data processing, which will result in a smarter and more tailored service for advertisers, not only in the affiliate marketing but across all digital channels.
