Account Executive (Edge Team)

About you …

You will be a self-driven, well-organised, quick learner, with good written and verbal communication skills, an analytic approach to problem solving, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a strong interest in online marketing and the affiliate channel in particular.

About the role …

You will help clients get their affiliate programs up and running, train them on how to use our platform and get the most out of the channel. You are key to supporting growth for clients, so we welcome a person who is motivated by driving success.

Role responsibilities

  • arrowProvide great customer service to our network of advertisers and publishers, helping them to set up, launch, manage and grow the affiliate channel.
  • arrowManage a portfolio of Webgains self-managed clients across the world; act as direct liaison on day-to-day queries, helping with both technical and commercial enquiries.
  • arrowClearly communicate the benefits of the affiliate channel & the big wins for clients.
  • arrowReview accounts, provide recommendations and conduct competitor bench marking services.
  • arrowProvide support to internal Webgains account management team (Review accounts, provide recommendations and conduct competitor benchmarking services).
  • arrowConduct training calls to help self-managed clients use our technical platform and improve their program performance.
  • arrowLiaise effectively with the Publisher Team to drive program recruitment and test new opportunities to the Webgains network.
  • arrowAdvocate and sell topline affiliate concepts and opportunities to the self-managed clients.

Role requirements

Essential

  • Demonstrate some/sound/considerable understanding and experience of affiliate marketing & recruitment.
  • Advanced capability with Microsoft office products.
  • Enthusiastic learner, seeking knowledge on internet economy and affiliate channel, competitor and subject matter best practice.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstratable experience of problem solving, using simple analysis to uncover issues with platform/program performance.

Desirable

  • Account management experience or client facing role.
  • Degree level education with experience in web-based technologies, marketing and management.
  • Fluent in another language (preferred Mandarin and German).
  • Experience of analysing data sets from a wide variety of sources and drawing user and market actionable insights.
