Established to turn dog food on its head, Different Dog provides a completely new type of food aimed at making dogs healthier and happier. Not raw, dry or wet – it’s a range of freshly prepared and gently hand-cooked recipes that give dogs the health boost they deserve.

Every week our chefs prepare a variety of delicious recipes, cooked with fresh natural ingredients and deliver them frozen to your door. We work with our vet and nutritionist to make sure that every meal is nutritionally balanced and our very own different dog, Crumble, gives them the wag of approval.

How are we different?

1. Home cooking for dogs: We use the same fresh ingredients and methods you would at home to cook your family meals. Look for the name on the label of every dish to see which chef prepared your dog’s food.

2. Fresh and natural: Once defrosted, our food requires refrigeration and will only last for 5 days, much the same as if you had made a casserole yourself. Most dog foods have a two year shelf life – that makes us feel queasy.

3. Our quality, your peace of mind: We are regularly taking our food to the lab for testing, and we use the results to improve the nutritional value of our food. We make over a hundred recipes a year, and we learn from them all. No one else is doing this.

4. Healthy, seasonal variety: We are the first to provide a truly varied diet, by cooking new recipes every month. This enables us to use seasonal ingredients and strengthens your dog’s internal microbiome, an important factor in overall health.

5. Tailor-made: Our subscription service creates a diet tailored just for your dog, which ensures they are healthy, happy and feeling that extra bit special.

6. Eco-passion: We care as passionately about the environment as we do about dogs, which is why being kind to the planet is part of every decision we make. We source all our ingredients as locally and sustainably as possible. Our packaging is either recyclable or compostable and we operate a free returns scheme so we reuse when we can.
