Programme description
Ellis Brigham Description
Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny ‘two up, two down’ building on the outskirts of Manchester.
After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham’s boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.
Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK’s premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
Still a family-owned business, today Ellis Brigham stocks a huge variety of outdoor clothing and equipment from more than 100 of the world’s best brands including The North Face, Salomon and Mountain Equipment.
USPs
• Ellis Brigham is an independent family run business established over 80 years ago, that offers exceptional levels of customer service both online and offline across our 26 nationwide stores.
• The key Ellis Brigham USP is that we have a very high level of in-house expertise; experienced passionate staff who love outdoor sports, constantly test new products and know what they’re talking about. Our buyers are the best in the industry and they do the leg work for the customer by finding the very ‘best in class’ brands out there.
• We use the power of the brands to drive people into our stores and to our website. We also buy by brand and buy ‘stories’ within brands – rather than cherry pick a few items, we’ll show the full range – which is why most brands like what we do and how we work.

What are the benefits of becoming an Affiliate?
• Competitive prices
• Top Products
• Massive choice and huge stock
• Continuing competitions
• High Commission % for good performance
• 30 days Cookie time
Because we want to reward our valued content affiliates in a better and fairer way we work with 3 commission segments.
The three different segments are based on the contribution of publishers in the order path / customer journey. The contribution of publishers is based on their historical performance. New publishers will be added in the default commission segment of 5%, and this can rise to 9% depending on performance. Every month the contribution of each publisher will be evaluated.
The contribution will be based on:
• Recency (How recent was the visit)
• Time on site
• Relevance (How relevant is the visit to the final purchase)
We have defined the following commissions
Commissions – Full Priced Products – 30 day Cookie
• 5%
Commissions – Sale Priced Products – 30 day Cookie
• 1%
The contribution of each publisher can increase or decrease during the year. Based on the performance evaluation publishers may be moved to a higher or lower commission segment.
