Webgains and Lounge Win at Global Performance Marketing Awards

We’re delighted to announce that we took home the ‘Best Affiliate Programme Launch or Relaunch’ with Lounge Underwear at last weeks’ Global Performance Marketing Awards in London.

The awards ceremony, attended by representatives from both Webgains and our partners at Lounge, took place in London on the evening of Monday 17th October, the eve of PI LIVE London 2022.

Speaking about the award Lounge Underwear’s Junior PPC and Affiliate Executive, Marsela Qazimi commented “it means everything. We’ve worked so hard for it.”

“We worked so well with the team at Webgains and really smashed this!” added Marsela’s colleague Hannah Lewis, Head of PPC and Affiliates at Lounge.

Beyond Tradition: How Webgains Accelerated Lounge’s Growth without Tried & Tested Methods
After launching their affiliate programme with Webgains exclusively to the student demographic in February 2021, Lounge stakeholders learned how to increase their publisher mix to achieve the company’s goals and objectives. The focus was on recruiting key closed group affiliates. The initial launch of Lounge UK and US resulted in a 53% uplift in revenue against the forecast, achieving an ROI of +35% against the projection.

Due to the successful launch of the UK and US programmes, Lounge was keen to open a programme within the German market. The German programme saw an uplift of +589%, with these partners generating just under £300,000 revenue in a month. Lounge also achieved a new customer rate of 54% since launch, highlighting the value in the acquisition strategy

Explaining why they selected Webgains and Lounge for this prize, the GPMA judges’ offered the following feedback:

“This entry really stood out. When working with a limited number of affiliates, it is hard to reach your goals quickly. However, Webgains proved themselves and did it with this campaign.”
